What are the height and age requirements to race at Andretti San Antonio?

Mini Mario karts require a minimum height of 36 inches (recommended ages 4 and up), Junior karts require 48 inches, and the faster adult and intermediate karts require 54 inches. Drivers must be 18 or older, or 15 and older with a state-issued driver license or permit.

How many kids do I need for a birthday party here?

Birthday parties require a minimum of 10 guests and must be pre-booked through the group sales department. Larger groups are accommodated in the VIP suites or the expansive Grand Room.

Are waivers required and is there a dress code for karting?

Yes. Each racer must complete a waiver, and minors need a parent or guardian signature. The karting dress code requires flat closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops), tied-back long hair, and no hats or loose clothing.

Is everything at Andretti San Antonio indoors?

Yes. The karting track, laser tag arena, arcade, bowling, and VR attractions are all indoors, so birthday parties run comfortably year-round regardless of San Antonio weather.

What is included in the kids' party meal?

This venue still needs a current package-level re-check. Use the official venue page or call directly to confirm today's party tiers, included attractions, and guest-count rules.

Parties require a 10-guest minimum and must be pre-booked through group sales, so this is not a fit for small or walk-in celebrations

Planning tips

Helpful planning tips

Ask the venue for a current written quote before you pay a deposit so package details and add-ons match what you expect.

Check height before you book. Mini Mario karts need 36 inches, Junior races need 48 inches, and the teen Octane race uses faster adult and intermediate karts that require 54 inches and a driver license or permit for ages 15 to 17.

Have every racer (and accompanying adults who plan to drive) complete the Andretti waiver online ahead of time to speed up check-in.

Dress kids in flat closed-toe shoes with no flip-flops, tie back long hair, and skip hats and loose clothing so everyone clears the karting dress code.

Arrive about 30 minutes early so your event host can check the group in and set the reserved attraction and race times.

If you book a Junior or Teen party during the promotional window, the birthday guest of honor plays for free, so ask the event associate to apply it.
