What to know
Pros & cons
Pros
- Unique, social birthday format where kids compete by hitting golf balls at lit-up targets, no golf experience needed
- Multi-level venue with climate-controlled bays means some weather protection, and the vibe is lively and fun
- Souvenir cups and leaderboard name display make the birthday child feel like a VIP
Keep in mind
- No traditional enclosed party room, your group is in open bays on the driving range, which may not work for parents wanting a private cake-and-presents moment
- Outside food and cake are not allowed, all food must be ordered through Topgolf's menu
Planning tips
Helpful planning tips
Book 2-3 bays minimum for groups of 10+ kids. Each bay holds up to 6 players, and crowding one bay diminishes the experience.
Add the professional golf tips upgrade if your group includes beginners, a coach gives quick pointers that help kids hit targets and have more fun.
Ask the venue for a current written quote before you pay a deposit so package details and add-ons match what you expect.
Consider a weekday party for potentially better availability and a less crowded facility.
