What to know
Pros & cons
Pros
- Completely unique birthday experience, no other venue in Atlanta offers live puppet shows combined with hands-on puppet-making workshops
- The Jim Henson museum gallery (featuring Muppets and Sesame Street memorabilia) adds an extra layer of magic for kids and nostalgia for parents
Keep in mind
- No food or catering is provided, parents must bring all food, cake, beverages, and supplies
- The activity format (show + workshop + museum) is structured and less flexible than open-play venues, kids cannot freely choose activities
Planning tips
Helpful planning tips
Check the performance schedule when booking, different shows are offered on different dates, and some shows are better suited for younger versus older kids.
Bring all food, cake, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. The venue provides the space but nothing to eat or drink.
The Create-A-Puppet Workshop produces a take-home puppet for each child, this doubles as a built-in party favor, so you may not need separate goody bags.
For groups over 60 people, contact the Rentals department directly rather than using the standard birthday booking process.
